Established the Attanistan Organization, developing its mission statement, designing the logo, and creating a comprehensive marketing plan. Spearheaded social media strategies, including launching and managing the Instagram and TikTok accounts, resulting in sold-out events and increased community engagement.

Engaging TikTok Content for Attanistan Organization
I created, shot, and edited this TikTok to increase awareness and engagement for the Attanistan Organization. The video reached 36.1k people, gained 600 engaged followers, and received 2k likes, 94 comments, and 454 saves. Beyond engagement on TikTok, this content effectively directed viewers to our Instagram and boosted traffic to our email list, helping us connect with and stay engaged with interested individuals. This project demonstrates the power of engaging video content in building our community across platforms.
Mission Statement and Welcome Graphic for Attanistan Organization
I crafted Attanistan’s mission statement to clearly express our commitment to sharing the cultural heritage of Afghanistan through Attan, the national dance. Using Canva, I designed this graphic to visually welcome our community and introduce our purpose. By sharing this with our followers, we set the tone for what Attanistan represents—a space for learning, connection, and celebration of Afghan culture. This graphic helps align our audience with our mission and inspires engagement with our workshops and events.
Event Flyer Design for Attanistan Workshop Collaboration
Designed on Canva, this flyer was created to promote a collaborative Beginners Attan Workshop aimed at expanding our reach from coast to coast and connecting audiences beyond state lines. I ensured all essential details were highlighted, including the event location, time, and our incredible facilitators, Mina Jahan and Hila Hamidi. This design reflects our commitment to making Afghan cultural experiences accessible and inviting for all, helping us grow our community and share Attan with new audiences.

To make our workshops more welcoming and inclusive, I designed an infographic on Canva that explains what 'Attan' is for those who may not be familiar with it. This graphic was crafted to align with our brand imagery, ensuring consistency across our page. The post not only helped newcomers feel more comfortable joining us but also resonated with our community, resulting in over 1k accounts reached and dozens of new followers. The infographic was widely shared, allowing us to spread knowledge about Attan and connect with a broader audience.

This follow-up email was designed to thank attendees for joining our first Attan workshop and encourage continued engagement. I created a custom graphic, included links for social media connection, and added a survey to gather valuable feedback for future events. Sent using Mail Merge, this personalized outreach allowed us to maintain a professional touch while connecting with our community.

Instagram Growth and Engagement for Attanistan Organization
Through consistent brand imaging, strategic marketing, and authentic engagement, we’ve grown our Instagram community to 437 followers, with a reach of over 77,280 views in the past 90 days—32.5% from followers and 67.5% from non-followers. Our efforts have reached 12.5k accounts, and from September to October 2024, our profile activity increased by 154%.
This growth was driven by posting a mix of informative and promotional content, building strong connections with our audience, and leveraging tools like the 'questions' sticker on Instagram Stories. By staying authentic and responsive, we’ve cultivated a meaningful relationship with our community.

Managed social media accounts for The Coordinated Collective, producing engaging Reels and maintaining client relationships through strategic email marketing. Leveraged tools such as Canva, CapCut, and Final Cut to create visually compelling content that aligned with the brand’s voice and resonated with our audience.

To enhance client engagement and provide potential clients with a comprehensive view of our work, I revamped the Day of Coordinators' Instagram by creating a "Highlights" section. This section allows followers to easily scroll through curated content, including venues we frequently work with, behind-the-scenes moments from weddings, and special moments shared by our couples.
Additionally, I created and edited a "Meet the Team" pinned post to introduce our team members. This post helps clients and potential clients get familiar with the people who may be coordinating their wedding, building trust and a personal connection. These strategic additions have made our Instagram a more informative and welcoming space for both clients and followers.

The Day of Coordinators' Instagram feed was carefully curated to reflect a cohesive, wedding-focused brand identity. For each couple who approved, I attended their wedding to capture day-of content, shooting both behind-the-scenes moments and intimate scenes with the couple. This content was then edited and crafted into personalized reels, which became a popular feature among our clients. Many clients shared these reels with their followers, expanding our reach and attracting new clientele.
The feed not only showcases the unique, diverse couples we had the honor of working with but also highlighted the talented photographers and vendors we collaborated with. By maintaining a consistent, wedding-inspired aesthetic, the account conveyed a warm, welcoming feel that resonated with both current and prospective clients.
